How often do I practice meditations?

Consistency is important.

12 minutes every day is a good start to improve quality of your life, to become more focused and feel balanced. The main thing is to practice at least one meditation each day. If you can practice two meditations per day, you will see that changes start happening faster. For example, a gratitude and perfect day meditation can be practiced every morning and any other throughout the day.
When to meditate: in the morning or in the evening?


You can meditate at any time of the day. Especially if you feel stressed or worried, you can use a meditation to calm down.

However the effect will be the best if you start building a habit to meditate in the morning once you woke up and just before you are about to fall asleep.

At this time it is also easier to reach your theta brain wave which is a perfect state to 'collaborate' with your subconscious mind.
I tried meditating before but could not stop mind's chatter. What would you recommend?

First of all, it is normal to notice your mind chatting. Question here is why you want to stop it? Probably because you have unpleasant thoughts.

Meditation will help you shifting your mindset and producing healthy and inspiring thoughts.

Think about your mind as a miracle. When it's in a healthy & balanced state, it is able to produce amazing thoughts & ideas. And then you are able to create the life you want.
